Moving Month: Mover Highlight Dean and Loretta Savage
“God, Family, Business.” These are the values that husband and wife team Dean and Loretta Savage follow while running their company Apex Moving & Storage, a Stevens agent, in Puyallup, Washington.
Apex Moving & Storage began in 1997; what started as a hobby helping family and friends move, turned into a career full of passion. This passion is evident in the way Dean and Loretta approach their clients, tailoring every move to the unique needs of the customer. This individualized attention, and focus on customer satisfaction, is one reason Apex Moving & Storage was named Stevens’ “Agent of the Month” for March 2021.
As individuals dedicated to serving others, Dean and Loretta are deeply involved in their church and charity work, working tirelessly with Move for Hunger and their local food banks to eradicate food waste and hunger in their community and across the country. Overall, Apex Moving & Storage has donated over 464,000 meals for their community – an incredible achievement that earned them recognition by Move for Hunger as “2019 Mover of the Year”. When asked what motived them to become involved in Move for Hunger, Dean replied, “Many years ago Loretta and I realized we had a passion for helping those in need of food in our community. We began helping people through our church and eventually realized we had a responsibility to utilize our professional equipment to increase the scale and efficiency of not only serving our community, but also eradicating hunger nationwide. ”
American Trucking Associations’ Moving and Storage is proud to have Apex Moving & Storage, and Dean and Loretta Savage, as a part of the moving and storage family.
